Since Christmas is right around the corner I thought it might be appropriate the next few weeks to highlight stories of people working to make the world a better place. This week’s story is from a guy I met in Seattle a few weeks back, Eugene Cho.
I appreciate Eugene’s honesty about the challenging aspects of his giving experience.
Can you relate?

Eugene Cho is the Lead Pastor of Quest Church in Seattle, WA and is co-founder of One Day’s Wages with his wife Minhee. Also check out Eugene’s blog.

Wow. Thank you for that Eugene. Here’s where it left me, first I love how honest he was and that he didn’t try to make it sound more ‘godly’ and sacrificial. Instead he was honest and said yeah this really sucked and I don’t think I would do it again. What’s wrong with that? Nothing. I believe this is the truth for all of us at some point and in some way but I know that it is for me. Things don’t always turn out like we plan, even with the best intentions. This intrigues me. I am not the creator of the universe, I do not see even a fraction of the big picture but I can jump in, take a risk, live a little and make an impact. Thanks again for your honesty Eugene, I hope that inspires people as much as your very giving heart does.
Good stuff Craig! You meet the coolest people and thanks to you I do too!
