Wow. This would be a pretty incredible video commercial for Doable Evangelism! I wish I was their neighbor!
Craig- this is a wonderful series. I love your story telling and I love the freeing spirit of this content. – Al
I’m dittoing Randy. I want to be Tim and Jenny’s neighbor.
yeah, this is certainly earth shattering… not… I liked the first vid better.. thes cute old couple at least are trying not to be judgemental.. which i guess is the first step for some of us.. but there is also a place to “refuse the right hand of fellowship too” that we don’t seem to look much at.. much like christian sexuality… The RYF
Clint, I’m not sure I’m tracking with you..what do you mean by “refuse the right hand of fellowship”?
sure Craig, there’s a clip in one of the epistles or Acts where i believe it was Barnabas.. refused to allow Paul into a meeting or gathering.. (prob cause of his reputation for being a blood thirsty ego maniac as Saul) but the reason I think it is there.. is much like Paul’s advise to Timothy, of the need to be discriminating
I can relate because I feel God works in me through my neighbors as well, especially since we get new ones constantly in the military. I love how they realized ‘God loves our neighbors and we need to see them with His eyes’, how simple yet how often I need to be reminded of it. I think Christians as a whole have really mastered the judging part and now need to focus on the loving part of life… at least if you are following the ways of Jesus. It’s easier said then done but I’m striving for it. Your videos inspire me Craig, thank you.
I believe:
going all the way back,
it has always been about community.
Jesus said to just love God and love your neighbor.
all the way back to Moses, Jacob, Abraham .. its about living in community.
