Jessica, I love what you guys are doing! It’s so profound and brillant. So like Jesus, caring for people where they’re at, without expectation of change. I’m a therapist and I often work with women who have been violated as children, who grow up thinking that sex is all they are good for. I love that what you do touches women like that and reminds them that they are valuable. Thanks for encouraging and inspring me!!

  2. Benjamin Ady says:

“Treating them with respect and honor, which they deserve. We all deserve that.” I love that.

    Well, … except for ___________.

Okay, now I’m pondering with whom I fill in the blank. Honestly, the first thing that comes to mind for filling in that blank is controlling, toxic Christian leaders.

I wonder with whom Jessica would fill in the blank? Or anyone else?

    =P

    so sweet, so simple.

  4. David Peters says:

Wow. I love when people catch me off guard new ways to show love that break on our man-made rules.

  6. “care for peeps where the’re at.. without expectation of change.. touching .. and reminding they are valuable..” — all priceless.. applauding the courage and compassion of this young woman and those who effort with her in that beautific vision

  7. Dave Prall says:

Very hard to do with just human love. I can really see Christ’s holy Spirit working through these good people.

  8. Benjamin Ady says:

    Dave,

That’s an interesting take. Why do you believe human love is generally insufficient?

  9. Bruce says:

Very hard to do with just human love. I can really see Christ’s holy Spirit working through these good people.

  10. Benjamin Ady says:

Why do people keep saying “just human love”? What does that mean? Humans of all religions and of no religion have shown staggering, mind blowing amounts of love to each other. That *is* human love at it’s best. There’s no “just”

    • David Peters says:

I like your perspective on this. Maybe there is more of the divine latent in all humankind than our fundamentalist roots ever allowed us to believe.

    • Dave says:

The idea is that human love has limits. Human love at times is mixed with other motives. Human love is selective. God’s love is not.

God’s no-limit love was demonstrated on the cross.

Plus they are a church, they are there to share the love of Jesus. That’s what the video says.

  11. Dave says:

Why is this video on the ban list? Its the most Christian I’ve seen so far.

    • Craig says:

Hi Dave, I’m not sure why this made the ban list, I never received an explanation. Perhaps it was because the group doesn’t try to convert or “rescue” the prostitutes? I was a little surprised too, but didn’t question the decision because I understand that Christian organizations tend to be more cautious when it comes to topics surrounding sex.
